Truman's accident happened on Wednesday, May 16th. On Friday, our good friend, Katie, from NC, got on a plane and flew up--one way ticket, no return date--to take care of our kids while Cameron and I were in the hospital. Amazing. She stayed for a month. God was so good to us in that Katie sacrificed her time to come and take care of our children during such a difficult time for us.
During her stay here, she met Raphael, a godly man in our church. Last Saturday, Raphael asked Katie to be his wife and she said "Yes! Yes! Yes!". This spring, they will be getting married and Katie will be moving to Michigan! We are so excited for them! Praise God that He uses all things for good--a horrific accident, which became a miracle of recovery, God used to bring together two of His people in holy matrimony.
