Praise God!

Cameron here...A praise to report. We have had a steady stream of visitors today along with all six of our kiddos here. At any one time there was at least 7 to 10 people in Truman's room. When the nurse was giving report to the next nurse I had everyone leave the room. We ended up being gone for about an hour, arranging transportation home for the kids. When we came back to the room his nurse informed us that while we were gone his blood pressure started dropping requiring medication to keep it up. This started, per her description, as soon as it got quiet in the room. She said, "He knows you guys are here and is thriving on all your voices." This was SO helpful to hear. He knows we are with him! Since we have been back in the room his blood pressure is stable again. How incredible.

He hears you and he hears God too. God is love itself and your love for your son is prayer. All the love you share is your tangible proof that God is right there with you. God who is good has all power and is all present. Love to you all!

I don't know your family, but I am praying for Truman. As Jesus said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid; just believe, and [he] will be healed." (Lk 8:50)

Can you try reading Truman some of his favorite books? If he recognizes your voices, he'll recognize his favorite books, also. Maybe you can leave a stack of them near his bed; perhaps the nurses will start reading to him, too. We're praying for all of you.
