In light of our own failed adoptions, I thought THIS was a great blog post. Please read this if you are considering or are in the process of adoption. Rachel pretty much sums it up. She worked for our adoption agency when we in the process of adopting, and has also adopted from Liberia, as well as recently adopting domestically. There is a current popular trend in adoption among Christians and Rachel has some great insights.

That was a great post and needs to be heard by more families.
Yes! It is difficult to understand that although our hearts may be in the right place, this will not prepare us for the difficulties that adoption brings. I really like what she said about until we can say with confidence that we can love a child who will never love us back, we shouldn't adopt. That is SO true!
