The Mouro Family's Recipe Book

Here it is, finally done: The Mouro Family's Recipe Book! There are one hundred and forty recipes included in this cook book that are our family's favorites. Each of these recipes, collected over the years from family and friends, and much trial and error, is tried and true, passing the taste-test of six little palettes and one hungry husband. These recipes are not only healthy (most of them ;), but they are also economical for the family with many mouths to feed. We hope you enjoy this cookbook! Food is so instrumental in creating memories . . . from mom's meatloaf to grandma's cookies. Let our family's favorites become yours.

For now, the recipe book is available as an "e-book", but hopefully, in the near future, we will be able to create a hardcopy version, as well.

***I forgot to mention that if you are not familiar with any of my recipes, several of them are posted on this blog (click on recipes on the side-bar). That will give you a sampling of what is included in the book. :) ***

Hey Laura,

I need to ask you a question about a recipe post that you made back in October. I'd like to make the strawberry cake tomorrow (sat) for my son's birthday. I got ing's today but I just read through your post and didn't find what temp. to bake it at nor how long. I'm not a good baker so I can't guess and get it right! Can you email me at acwalsman@yahoo.com. I may call you if I get your phone number from my sister, Ginny.

Thanks!

Abby

Good question, Abbie. I looked in my recipe book and I don't have it either! LOL

I am pretty sure it is the standard 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes (keep checking--that's what I do). I would do a more thorough search, but I am leaving town for a conference in 20 minutes and won't be back until tomorrow evening.

Sorry!

Laura
